Deploy MailGuard, then scan in Outlook

1. Create your MailGuard account

Visit Get Started and contact Code13 to arrange MailGuard access. Your organization is provisioned by Code13 — not through anonymous self-registration.

2. Deploy to Microsoft 365

An Exchange or Microsoft 365 administrator must upload the Outlook add-in file and assign users.

1. Download MailGuard.outlook.xml.
2. Open Microsoft 365 Integrated apps.
3. Upload the custom app and assign selected users or groups.

3. Open Outlook after propagation

1. Wait for deployment to propagate (often minutes; can take up to 24 hours).
2. Fully quit and reopen Outlook if needed.
3. Open any email message.
4. Open MailGuard from the ribbon or Apps surface.

4. Sign in and scan

1. Sign in with the same MailGuard account you created online.
2. Select an email to begin analysis.
3. Review the verdict and Security Coach guidance.
